A digital extension of Volkswagen’s Super Bowl campaign following “The Force,” the brand’s iconic Darth Vader commercial.
The campaign began with “The Bark Side,” a teaser film featuring dogs barking the Star Wars theme ahead of Super Bowl XLVI. From there, the idea expanded into an interactive digital campaign where people could create and share their own Star Wars themed game day invitations leading up to the release of “The Dog Strikes Back.”
The work extended the humor and world of the teaser into interactive and social spaces tied to the larger Super Bowl campaign.
